Luatech announces development of XDB Tools for Microsoft SQL Server

Luatech is developing extended database tools named XDB Tools. The XDB Tools are set of tools used for speeding up development cycle of database access programming using Microsoft .NET technology.

The XDB Tools speed up database programming by managing stored procedures, generating application code for accessing stored procedures and reconfiguring data adapters. It automates the development process for database structural changes.

The XDBconfig tool is a stand-alone GUI tool for configuration of data adapters. It provides easy maintenance of list of data adapters used in target application and supports generation of standard stored procedures (select/insert/update/delete) used in those data adapters. The data adapters are reconfigured with single mouse-click.

The XDB.NET is a standard .NET assembly (DLL component). The component uses single xml file loaded at runtime, which configures data adapters used within application. All database access is done within the XDB.NET component which enables easy configuration using the XDBconfig tool.

The XDB Tools support Microsoft SQL Server 2000 and Microsoft SQL Server 2005.
